Dougie Wallace

If you are bored with your photography, join us and discover your unique voice in street photography.
Dougie Wallace is pleased to invite you to his street photography workshop “Tbilisi Stories”.
This workshop is suitable for intermediate/advanced street photographers who have a good technical understanding of photography and the fundamentals of street photography. The focus will be to take your street photography to the next level, through critical feedback. If you are looking for an adventure and a challenge, this workshop will be perfect for you.
We will start the workshop with a slideshow - then we go out shooting to do some stories.
Later we discuss the results and edit them. Next day more shooting, doing critiques and in the end we create a slideshow of your works.
Looking forward to explore your city with you as guides.
Let’s do a great set of Tbilisi stories together.

Dougie Wallace

East London-based photographer Dougie Wallace grew up in Glasgow hence his moniker, “Glasweegee”. Internationally recognized for his long-term social documentary projects and a distinct direct style of expressive street photography, he says: ‘Human behavior motivates my pictures. People, their interactions and emotions fascinate me… Translating this, through my lens, into social wit, criticism and humorous vignettes is what stimulates me.’ His work has extensively been featured in international publications including the New York Times and Germany’s Stern Magazine. His books 'Stags, Hens and Bunnies' (Dewi Lewis, 2014), 'Shoreditch Wild Life' (Hoxton Minipress, 2014) and 'Road Wallah' (Dewi Lewis, 2015) received much critical acclaim and viral buzz. Dougie is represented by INSTITUTE artist management company.
