Don't Look At The Sun, Follow Its Light!

Intense review and learning experience with photographer Mimi Mollica

Mimi Mollica, London 2012

This workshop will consist of three separate but connected stages. A portfolio review, a shooting session and a further review of the results with a final discussion on outcomes and thoughts between the photographers and Mimi Mollica.

The participants will be asked to bring a selection of their work (no more than 20 images each) that could represent their style or choice of subjects. All together we will be looking at the pictures and Mimi will be commenting on each of the photographers work. We will be discussing about directions and potentials future choices of the photographers, while focussing on the importance of form and content, stylistic choices, composition and use of light, among others.
Shortly after, during the afternoon the participants will be entirely dedicated to shooting outdoors, while the next day we will be reviewing the work done on the previous day, having the chance to ask questions and discuss further anything related to photography. At the end of the workshop Mimi will make a lecture about his photographic work.
